Survived by children, Barbara Sipe (Tom), Robert Ennen (Laurie), Neil Ennen, Dianne Barthel (Mark), and Pat Mustonen (Jeff); grandchildren, Jessie Massicotte (Ted), Nate Sipe (Becky), Joe Sipe, Peter Ennen (Kim), Beth Barthel, Josh Barthel, Dani Peterson (Patrick), Alexa Mustonen, and Mackenzie Mustonen, great-grandchildren, Bailey Massicotte, Ashley Massicotte, Brianna Massicotte, Kassidy Ennen, Kadence Ennen, and Gabriella Barthel Scott.
Bertha met Dick on June 24, 1951 at Hartford Beach in Milbank, SD. They married on October 28, 1952 and spent the first years of their marriage farming in Stockholm, SD. In 1960, they moved to Watertown, SD. In 1965, Bertha and Dick moved to Minnesota. They raised their family in Brooklyn Park and had many friends in the area. Bertha enjoyed bowling, sewing, baking and sharing her many baked goods with the neighborhood children. Bertha also enjoyed sewing quilts for her grandchildren and spending time at the family cabin. Funeral Service 11:00 am Monday 9/11/17 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (7217 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park) Visitation starting at 10:00 am at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of your choice. Private family graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park.
